An Important Annoucement

This is one of those messages I’ve rewritten in my head a hundred times…

Waiting for the right moment, the right words, and the right steadiness in my own heart. The seasons are shifting, and with them, so are we.

The Village Community Acupuncture will be closing its brick-and-mortar space, with our final day likely at the end of February (date to be confirmed in the new year). This brings us right to the eve of our 10-year anniversary.

As we wrap up 2025 and begin orienting toward 2026, this transition feels especially aligned with the larger cycles at play.

And while the space itself will close, we will not.

The Village was never just a building.

It has always been youus, and the medicine that flows between.

A colleague recently shared a line that has been guiding me through this difficult decision:

“Endings are as sacred as beginnings.”

This moment is asking all of us to remember that healing doesn’t live in four walls. It lives in relationships, in intention, in continuity, in community, in being courageous enough to carry the thread forward into a new pattern.

We know changes like this can bring up questions, so we wanted to share a few answers to the ones we’re hearing most often.

Why is The Village space closing?
After nearly 10 years, we’re completing this chapter of The Village’s physical space. This decision reflects a natural transition and a shift in how care will be offered moving forward.

 

When is the last day at the current location?
Our final day in this space is expected to be the end of February (exact date to be confirmed). We’ll share confirmation as soon as it’s finalized.

 

Is The Village closing completely?
No. While the physical location is closing, the practitioners and the care continue. The Village has always been about people and relationships, not just a building.

 

Will my practitioner still be practicing?
Yes. All practitioners are continuing their work in new locations. Your practitioner will reach out directly with details about how to continue care.

 

What happens to my upcoming appointments?
Appointments scheduled before the end of February will proceed as usual.
If you’re booked beyond that date, your practitioner will contact you with next steps.

 

Is my client information safe?
Yes. All client records remain confidential and securely held, in line with professional and privacy standards.

 

Will I be added to new mailing lists?
Practitioners may reach out individually, and you’ll always have the choice whether or not to stay connected.

 

Who should I contact if I have questions?
Please reach out directly to your practitioner, or email info@saraward.ca if you’re unsure who to contact.

 

We’re deeply grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us over the years. This is a transition, not an ending — and your care continues.
